Ricardo Kondo

From Mexico, in Ibiza

Ricardo Kondo is a Mexico City-born, Ibiza-based music producer, DJ, and composer whose work bridges the sacred and the sonic. With over 15 years of experience in the music industry and a degree from Berklee College of Music (Class of 2010), his artistry moves effortlessly between emotive electronic production,
cinematic storytelling, and dancefloor alchemy.

Kondo’s sound is rooted in deep feeling—crafted from a place where melody meets memory. His musical palette blends elements of melodic house, melodic techno, and a touch of disco, all infused with a timeless emotional depth. Through each set and composition, he invites listeners into an intimate journey—one that awakens the senses and stirs the soul.

As one half of Mariaxibit, a celebrated project with millions of digital plays, and a solo artist signed to labels like Happy Camper Records, The Gardens of Babylon Records, and Seraf in Audio Imprint, Kondo’s music has touched hearts across the globe. His live performances have become portals of collective transformation, gracing stages such as The Gardens of Babylon (Amsterdam), Zamna (Tulum), Akasha (Ibiza), Mia (Tulum), Cafe del Mar, Where the Sheep Sleep, Radion (Amsterdam), Dutch Burn Decompression, and Af rikaBurn.

At Af rikaBurn 2025, Kondo experienced what he calls the most magical set of his life—while playing one of his own productions, a double rainbow arched over Tankwa Town, transforming the desert into a cathedral of light and sound. It was a moment of synchronicity and awe that etched itself into the hearts of everyone present, a testament to music’s power to align heaven and earth.

Guided by the mantra: “Take my hand and let’s go for a ride—I may not blow your mind, but I will def initely touch your heart, ” Kondo approaches every
set as a ceremony. His music is more than entertainment—it is an offering, a shared breath between artist and audience, a space to feel, heal, and remember who we are beneath the noise.
